From September 23–25, 2026, BRAIN++ co-organized Blockchain Week Bulgaria 2026 at Sofia Tech Park, demonstrating how advanced HPC and AI infrastructure can drive the growth of Web3, fintech, data sovereignty, and AI technologies.
Throughout the event, our team demonstrated how decentralized trust and sovereign compute are driving the next era of enterprise-grade artificial intelligence. Here are the main highlights of our active participation:
🌐 Federating AI Factories with CHAIN++
At ETHSofia 2026, Kiril Kalchev (System Architect for the Data Lake at BRAIN++) delivered a practitioner’s breakdown on building trust between independent AI systems.
• Federated AI Factories: Kiril introduced CHAIN++, our permissioned blockchain platform engineered to federate AI Factories across facilities, enabling tamper-evident data provenance and policy-governed access without a central operator.
• Post-Quantum Trust: A live look into CHAIN++’s evolution toward post-quantum cryptographic signatures (ML-DSA-65 / FIPS 204) and a polymorphic chain design that rotates algorithm policies by epoch to withstand next-generation security threats.
🛡️ Data Sovereignty: Keeping Business Data Local
At the Future Finance Forum (F3 2026) at John Atanasoff Hall (Sofia Tech Park), Prof. Simeon Stoyanov (Manager of BRAIN++ & Business Development Director of Discoverer Supercomputer) led discussions on the high-stakes panel “Data Sovereignty and AI: Keeping Business Data Local”.
Joined by industry leaders Preslav Nakov (MBZUAI), Hristo Todorov (DiscreteStack), and Milan de Reede (NanoGPT), the session tackled the operational reality facing banks, fintechs, and enterprises today:
• How to innovate with cutting-edge AI while keeping data strictly local, under institutional control, fully compliant with EU regulation, and independent of foreign infrastructure.
